Welcome Lindsey Dockemeyer!

Vascular Specialists is pleased to announce Lindsey Dockemeyer, FNP, has joined our Tinley Park practice. 

Lindsey earned her Masters of Science, Family Nurse Practitioner, at Chamberlain College of Nursing after achieving a BS in Nursing and in Marketing. She brings our patients a wealth of experience, including working in Immediate Care, Cardiac Catheterization and Intensive Care units. 

She is an outstanding diagnostician and excels in helping to develop plans of care with our physicians, patients and their families. Patients will find Lindsey provides calm, focused care and comprehensive education about their diagnosis, disease progress and treatment options.

With a background in cardiology, Lindsey takes a special interest in the chronic diseases that affect vascular patients including hypertension, diabetes and heart disease. “We can really help people looking for answers,” she noted.

Lindsey is personable, approachable and friendly. “I become a trusted advocate for my patients, helping them to access proper and appropriate care and to achieve successful outcomes,” says Lindsey. “I don’t leave a patient until I have answered all their questions, and ensured that they understand their medical condition and what can be done to treat it. Our patients should be fully involved in their treatment plan.”

Hailing from Bourbonnais, Lindsey is married with a daughter, a son and a houseful of rescue dogs and cats, well on their way to their dream of being an animal sanctuary. The family spends free time outdoors and loves to camp on the weekends.
